cant wait for the brand new uniform hope the stormproof has a proper hood on it.
Sod it... if it gets really bad my missus bought me a mountaineering coat for my birthday and its the dogs bollocks in wind, rain, snow you name it...made by a company called Arcteryx she won't tell me who much it cost and knowing her shopping habits I'm just too freighted to look

My lino says RM uniform or nothing but I've spent too many days wet, cold and miserable so sneak it out :nana
Arcteryx! not surprised your missus wont tell you how much it cost thats expensive material i would never ever wear anything so good for work....i would rather just get pissed wet through

Stormproof on top of the fleece seems to work OK for me - not too hot in the sun either ... hood IS weird though with them "tightening things" dangling in front of your mouth (maybe we should soak them in nutrients and chew on them for extra energy ?) - I just wear a (non-RM) woolie hat to keep the 53 year old brain warm ...

Day off today - I'm guessing it might be the last one before the Xmas "Can you work your ... ?" requests start to kick in - shame really as next week's D/O falls on my birthday ... might say "No" next week if asked before offering my then 54 year old body up for abuse for the rest of December :chuckle
"We're under model" - oh no we're not - stick your lapse elsewhere ...
