Very true. It's not a lot to ask is it? Royal Mail is the only place I've ever worked where a lino asks you to do some o/t and if you don't badger them to write it down, it doesn't get recorded. Anywhere else when someone is asked to do o/t by a line manager they make a note of it and remind you if you forget to sign for it.
