surely the point is geo route or whatever system is in use pumps out something that take you to your time.
you then rip the guts out of it to make time.
they will then kow how quick it CAN be done not how long it COULD take.

I think we should all be very wary of proposed operational,(or non proposed for some) changes. If your office rep is good,ask him questions and give him the info he needs to challenge the DOM.
Perhaps a new structure,(local agreement) on who or cannot absorb/lapse?
Perhaps work out a mathamatical way to lapse to show capacity?

The way to do it is for the local rep to show,(in documentation format),on what time individual using tools for the job is coming back,(just these people mind,not the flyers). Do it over a month just on a Tuesday.
Then over that same period count the 1st/2nd class/DSA stuff on the town corner for only the absorbed walks. He/you would be surprised at the failures here AND who cannot absorb.

I'd like to see Managers absoring too, instead of them having their own food and coffee, let them eat from 1 plate and absorb that.
