I dont think that there is any heart left in the staff for any more strikes, as we now know that we do not have a negotiating team that has the will or skills to put a professional package together for both the benefit of the employees and the business. Secondly we do not have sufficient numbers of staff with any will or interest to stand up to Royal Mail, as I believe the bulk of those who had that fight have now gone or so fed up with ballots where the bulk of staff cannot even be bothered to vote in.

Now with a bare minium payment for D2D's + the increase in the weekly limit and All Year lapsing in many office's across the Country - RM will be raking it in like a Top Class Hoe.. So i reckon 2010/11 Annual Profit will be nearing the £600 million mark.. Anybody else like to have a guess???

600 million climbing to 800 million next year.
1:d2d bonanza
2: end of discounted DSA term.
3: company starting to reap the benefits of lower wage bill(initially its cost millions in vr payments ranging from 10k to 50 k).
4 steady growth in packets.

It'll be reported in Euro's or Guilders if that collapses.
