Union Members Morale Getting Low

After the announcement of the next strike days, there's quite a few of the Union members from our office thinking of actually going in on the strike days, purely because, and to quote them 'We've got mortgages and bills and can't afford it'.

What's the general feeling in other offices and other parts of the country, i'd be interested in finding out ?

Maybe the union should get a video or dvd produce, sort of like the 'No Bullshit' dvd's that so called lamebrain and dozier had made, to keep the union members morale up

Morale still very high in our Office most people are just feed up with the way R/M wants to treat us all. And now for the even better news (IWW Fellow Worker will just love this) Two of those people, you know who (S****) who went in, well they are off `sick`. Now I by nature am not a vindictive person, But bloody good job. They seem to be citing `stress`, well they brought in on themselves?. And what about the stress the rest of us have had to endure, taking on those 2 Main Pratt's. Come on everybody KEEP THE FAITH

Dont know about morale getting low most people up here cant wait to take this mob on. We had a strange one the other day where managers were reading out the letter sent by the CWU to L and C . When asked why they were doing it the explaination was that although they are being told to think differently managers actually agree with the CWU point of view.
So join us on the picket line brothers and sisters one enemy one fight lets go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

L&C are sales people full stop,that's sales culture with all the regimentation, everybody singing from the same hymm sheet nonsense , Nearer to my God than thee as sung on The Titanic would be most apt!. The CMA doesn't rate Royal Failures Arrogant -We know best approach . Unfortunately for L&C RM's a bit more complicated and involved , too much treacle, not like Asda etc!
Those strike breakers could have called the scabline and went to another office with bags to block the windows on the Scab Bus .
However you can guarantee RM will move the goalposts , twist & redefine matters . There will be brownie points for complying with Stress in the workplace HSE etc, RM couldn't care less usually unless a Inspector visits .
Royal Mail will probably hide behind the Harassment Act 97 & "witnesses " found , usually it's the Official Secrets Act or bringing RM into disrepute, but RM do a perfectly good job themselves;not that they don't need any assistance in that matter. I don't think those two will be on attendance procedure, probably be marked up as leave. :lfo :cfo

No, I'm not talking about Royal Mail. I was referring to a fledgling business called Scab Cabs

(one of our three 'I-want-the-benefits-of-striking-without-losing-money-myself' brigade is on Annual Leave on our office's next strike day)

Hope the line manager doesn't realise they're on A/L, and the gets an abatement on their pay

yeah will be very interesting come saturday but if they dont cross the line on sat still a scab in my book in fact it makes them even lower than a scab
as it shows how even more selfish they really are

i just hope we get a good turn out on our picket line this saturday

I just thought i'd update you about the crap morale of the picketing cwu members at my office.

Well, since the last strike day, our CWU rep has walked out of his job with Royal Mail, thus leaving us without a rep. Since this has happened, i've heard most of the staff in our office say that they won't be picketing on the next strike days, and in fact will be working the strike days.

So as i said, it looks like the Morale is now at an all time low.
