I heard a chap at work today suggest putting an advert in the local paper warning the public of the dangers of such a large volume of unsolicited mail building up were a person/persons to take a two/three week holiday. Surely such a build up of this volume would encourage a break in into somebodys house were an opportunist thief/burglar. Are the police aware of Royal Mail and its intentions. It may only take a high profile incident to put a stop to these practices. Letting the postmen/women deliver letter and a service to our customers.
