so that means ALL offices that leave mailsort on saturday will now be forced to take it.......... we know that because of this deal they will persue that line as a failure

well done to the negotation 'team' for a clear cut resolve on how to screw the very people that pay your wages

No it does not mean that but only mail sort 3 was allowed to be left on saturday under SDD. Mail sort 3 levels have virtually disapeared as it has been replaced by downstream access. I suggust that you go into your office tomorrow and see how much your traffic is now on Saturdays and compare it to Wednesdays or Fridays it wont be that far out.

Most duty holders who have an early saturday now are actually doing the same work as they do with longer hours on a Friday. You dont think Royal Mail have missed that do you ?????????

then just what do you interpret the outcome on those that at present leave mailsort to be then will they be forced to take as a direct result of the 'agreement' ? .............. yes well aware of the dsa influx on saturdays

Hope we have to take M3, as in my office we work 1hr less on a Saturday(7hrs), and a van share. Since Christmas me and my van share partner have finished our rounds only once. The managers have to go out and deliver it.

Hang on a minute! A lot of Mailsort 3 has now gone into Downstream Access.I have noticed that MS3 has gone down considerably. However we have fought for members not to touch it on a Saturday with the Single Delivery Agreement, and they have done the opposite, because they want the lighter Monday!

I do not mind being "attempted" to be conned for all that will listen. However some should realise that that some on this forum are not "wet behind the ears line managers". We know what comes in on certain days...more importantly...so do they!!!
