What a load of bolloxs you have to prep D2DS in your own time tell your DIM in a constructive none personal comment to feck off.

If your office accepts this well thats your problem our DIM tries this one and he will be told to feck off.

O i do hope we have WTL tomorrow and they try this one .Sleeves are now rolled up.

Every office rep should hand every union member a copy of the D2DS agreement for the future.

Strangely our DOM and Lino have been on holiday since this was handed out. It is also a week since we started lapsing which has been a total disaster.

However they are both back tomorrow and will be getting it with both barrels from various directions in the office. I don't think they will know what hit them :)

I'm going to try and make him hand out a correct WTL sheet that explains clearly how D2D's Should be done.

And yeah out WTL sheets are total s**t, as is a lot of stuff in our DO. We were all also told we had to bank our hours during the snow, which turned out to be total bollocks :(

D2D's ARE compulsory, you HAVE to do them end of!If you don't it's wilful delay!!Posties have been sacked for not doing them, even if they don't claim for them.

And as mentioned by others in this thread and in the D2D agreement link, they DO NOT have to be done in your own time.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Think we are missing the point. D2D create huge income for Royal Mail with very little admin costs etc. I am not sure what Royal Mail get paid by the company per item but its a huge percentage more than we recieve. We are doing the donkey work. Then we are told this is some "extra pocket money for us" like these Buzztards are doing us a favour. Fcuk off Royal Mail. sorry but getting angrier and angrier as I type.

The day I start prepping rubbish in my own time, that's the day my DIM can call for the men in white coats to take me away to laa-laa land.

its always worth looking here when your dom tells you something because usually they are trying it on. Door to doors are done in your duty time not your own time at 20% a day. The day royal mail says they have to be done in your own time is the day they have to make them optional. As someone said your paid for delivering not prepping them. Managers lie never believe a manager without looking here. Next they will tell you that you cant cut off lol.

Thanks for info guys. I was under the impression that d2d's prepping was to be done in my own time as we are paid extra for these. So now i can claim ot if i go over my duty time prepping/delivering these?
