I heard that the ID badges will soon be used to "LOG IN" electronically.... so there will be no need to sign in any more, (Less paper work for the overworked DOMS to process)....the information gathered will be used by RM for administration purposes only and NOT as a check on the hours actually worked.......Like hell they will.pickaname wrote:

Actually, why are Royal Mail still using paper to sign in/out? Everything else is being automated. Surely this is one of the easiest things to implement?
I heard this some time ago though about the same time as I heard we will be on monthly pay.
If this happened maybe the Fliers and runners will stop knackering the job for the rest of us.
