I think the problem is that our management just count the trays and then use the 150 figure to work out the daily traffic, they even count the letters in with the flats as flats but never the other way roundBadwolf wrote:RM don't really know how many letters there are. Problem there is that the number of trays or how full each tray is is irrelevant as a measure of the daily traffic count. The CSSs etc do it accurately every time........DGP1 wrote:I think the problem is that our management just count the trays and then use the 150 figure to work out the daily traffic, they even count the letters in with the flats as flats but never the other way roundBadwolf wrote:RM don't really know how many letters there are. If the machines are so accurate then why are the trays still counted (and in some cases weighed) but never the packets or MS3.Tman wrote:Problem there is that the number of trays or how full each tray is is irrelevant as a measure of the daily traffic count. Any idea then, why? When we do a manual check, our office figures always exceed the system traffic figures by,on average, 30%. Not having a go ,just thought you may Know why your "accurate" CSSs might come up with figures so far off the physical count conducted by Reps and DOms alike? 30% is a whopping statistical variance ,even allowing for innumerate DomsTman wrote:Problem there is that the number of trays or how full each tray is is irrelevant as a measure of the daily traffic count.
