Not illegal - but the CWU, and probably the CMA when it was a real Union, frown upon it. After all if management have their figures right and have made plans robust enough to cope with the fluctuations in mail, and taking into account the continual decline in volumes then there is no reason for them to be doing non management tasks, after all we have time to spare don't weandybfc wrote:What is the rule on this?
