With no meeting of the PEC til Monday 7th (meaning we can't be called out on strike until 14th Dec at the very earliest), the whole thing smacks of a no-strike agreement which the CWU leadership were fully aware was exactly that when they signed it

Don't mention "No Strike Agreement" It's the elephant in the room,no one talks about it but you sure as f*ck know it's there.
