Been luck in scotland so far this year, not had too much rain or bad weather, but the cat shoes are the worst yet, should go back to my own berghaus boots. Slipped off a wet tiled doorstep over a week ago and broused tendons in my ankle. Having to strap it up now, but dom dont care as long as mail is out!

Quick thought on Weather Warnings..

The Met Office issues a severe weather warning in the area you work. Advising people to stay in doors and to bolt everything down etc..

Royal Mail, knowing that a severe weather warning has been issued , still send you out on delivery. During which your hit by a falling branch or swept over and hurt yourself. Are you obliged to sue the Royal Mail for negligence seeing as they knew it would be dangerous to work in such conditions?

Or does a National Weather warning not effect Royal Mail's delivery policy? I'd be interested to know where we stand on this one..

If Snow is a certain depth or the wind at a certain velocity do we have a case ?

Just think- each postal worker killed by a flying tree can then have their walk absorbed! Crozier is probably spending his obnoxious wages on special wind machines.

And some of them post regularly on here.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
