my DOM has called me many a Sunday afternoon to ask me if i minded swapping duties for Monday morning, i consider this to be ok because it gives me prior notice instead of being told early Monday morning, i think its all about being flexible and helping out :Very Happy as filling out Bullying and Harrassment forms :confused i think not.

Mine once phoned first thing in the morning to ask where i was and awoke the whole house in the process. It was my rest day :mad
TIP OF THE DAY for david89: Find out your manager's home phone number. If he/she wants to ring you on your day off, make sure that, if you wake in the middle of the night for a pee, you phone to ask him/her if you can have the next day off at short notice, or perhaps swap your duty. I am sure they'll be totally flexible, grant your request and even send a strippergram round your house to thank you for being so considerate, and not for a moment consider denying your kind request with strongly-worded advice involving sex and travel

The union is fighting against bullying and harrassment in the workplace and you let managers intrude on your personal time ? :arrrghhh

:hmmmm Obviously this quote was from the past as what is the point of coming in early and sorting/working for free the way we are being forced to take IA :hmmmm
I know you think you know what you think I meant!
But do you really know?

If dom phones me and asks for me to come into work early then I claim ot from the time I arrive at work.
