Why don't you phone your manager every 15 mins. with a progress report until he asks you to stop

Re: harassed while off sick
Ok, I'd like to make a few points here:
1) The manager shouldn't have been making false accusations about your honesty. That's enough for a grievance, on it's own.
2) If the Manager wants regular contact, he/she should be phoning YOU! This should NOT be going on your phone bill. They want the contact, so they should PAY for the contact.
3) There's a big difference, between checking on someone's progress, and harrassing them. And sadly, it sounds like you're suffering the latter. It's an all too common occurance in RM these days. Yet they seem to consistantly get away with it!
Good luck with your Manager. And above all: Get well soon!

When I phone in sick I keep them updated but off my own back, if they ring me i dont answer and if I do decide to answer I press the record button on my mobile, I do this when I talk to a manager about any issue on the phone.

Do a voice recording on the lines of:
In order to monitor and eliminate all incoming calls deemed as nuisance/threatening/abusive or harassing nature all incoming calls are being recorded.
