I have 302 houses, i deliver to a very exclusive area, very well off, they are all doctors, solitors, MD's, judges, surgeons, bankers, games software programmers etc. they all live in very large detached houses with massive drives and the amount of mail they get is unbelievable. No sign of decline here ;-) Its takes about 3hrs 15mins to do it.

I have 600 drops, around 500 Semi Detached and 100 Terraced. Walk takes me around 2.30-2.40, though if I really get a move on I can do it under 2.10 - my cover man once finished at 5.15pm (and he'd done it before), what he was doing for 6 hours+ I have no idea.

My office ranges from 400-750 drops, and not many are 3hrs 30 for the average postie - there are very few detached houses and long drives in the area though, which seem to be a problem when Georoute is used - posties on these sorts of deliveries need to make sure the information is being taken down when a review is done, otherwise you're buggered.

608 drops (250) in 3 tower blocks,8 bag drops spread out evenly, cycle is used around and too and from my walk.(2 miles)
I do the job by the book.
On average 3hrs 20
I am a keen cyclist and ride most of the drives.
Vary rarely start before my proper start time unless I need to pick up my daughter up from nursery .

Revision just before summer pressure 4 jobs taken out ,problems with 4 walks which will be getting walk tested now that the work load is back up to normal levels.

Very little scope to absorb but we do on a Mon,Tuesday.

Revision did seem to level the walks out.

The duty I'm on this week is 565 drops and all the packets for 2 duties.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
