They say they will only engage us at a local level and us NOT our union the CWU!. It sounds too me that the royalmail are trying to get local agreements which will break our union into a thousand pieces and in doing so will lead to our basic pay being reduced to the national minimum wage levels!. IT IS HIGH TIME OUR NATIONS GOVERNMENT HELD THESE CORRUPT AND LAZY *ANKERS TO ACCOUNT!. :lfo & :cfo & :mfo

Dont think we`ll be having WTL next week as our conference room is currently full of work, to go with about 20 yorks of packets still untouched on the DO floor! Shambles is the word. If only the public knew how little the top bods cared about providing a proper SERVICE, all to save a few pennies. Shameful :cfo :mfo :lfo

I noticed in our office they managed to have these delivered to us on Thursday this week but our wage slips did not arrive until Saturday.
Managers response was "it was down to our striking colleagues they were late". Like we are to believe that and even if its true it won't stop my support for them. Roll on our national YES yote!

Reading the leaflet made me so angry, on the upside; best form of recruitment for the CWU and it didnt cost them a penny.

I cannot believe the stupidity of the "higher powers", what do they take us for? Surely they must of realised that there was only such much they could push us before they was a major backlash in the form of a national strike.

If they try that again. Just ask to see a copy of the Local Agreement. If it exists, they'll be able to show it to you, and it'll be signed by whoever agreed to it. If they can't produce it, they're lying.
