Years ago most people used their cars on second delivery, not on first, they used the vans for that, i can understand that, at one time in this business the only thing you made was time, and when they changed it round to a single delivery and made it job and finnish then again i can understand people wanting to finnish as soon as they can, what i cant understand is people still wanting use their cars now, RM are using the time you save by using your car as a way of cutting duties and cutting jobs, what part of that dont you understand, if RM put more work on you, or make you redundant then plodder and Margate will only have themselves to blame, but some other poor f***er who comes into the job after you will have it a lot worse, and if you have a serious accident in your car whilst on delivery i can tell you that RM wont want to know, they will hang you out to dry, ive said before on this site that RM make rules to cover themselves, and Margate you probably have the attitude you have because the people you work with probably think the same about you as we do, your an idiot...

I was speaking to my Lino the other day,and i mentioned to him that the car users have only signed a decleration to go out in their cars with one bag,how come he's letting them load up EVERYTHING into them.
He said to me with a little smile that he has no idea that they are loading their cars up

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

L TOMMO, thanks for your views, but they are your views not that of everyone, it's just some other people think the same as me and unlike margate postie are scared to say so, i thought you put your views across in a very good way tremendous use of the english language, did you go to charm school?

Why do you find it nessesary to resort to the following: :cfo :lfo

I was not being rude to you, or anyone else on this site, just expressing my views, do we still live in a democratic society, where we have freedom of speach? or because i am a postie i have to think the same way as everyone else?

I will look forward to hearing from anyone who has somthing constructive to say and can do so without being bullying, agressive,or pushing thier opinions on me.
If you are going through hell, Keep going.

But they won't be mate. It's probably going to be some young postie with his life ahead of him/her and who does the job properly who gets finished up and not the fly-by-night, self-interested bosses delights.

Ok everyone calm down -.Image this is a heated subject but please stop the personal abuse. Its better if both sides explain their positions rather than resort to name calling. In the end we are a democratic forum and we can agree to disagree. If you don't like someone's position in a particular thread then try to change their mind don't adopt playground tactics (or perhaps I should say Royal Mail tactics)
