Because it is a small van = vauxhall combi . Anything bigger like the transit garage has to come out to DO and replace. What happens when you get to a bike and find flat tyre? Bet you don,t spend time repairing it !!!!

Come the imminant re-sign, will non drivers be barred from these duties, simply because they have no pouch boxes?

Ah - that will explain why we had 30 put together about christmas time which are hanging around unused - I remember trialling one about 12 years or more ago and found them to be totally unsuitable for the job - or not fit for purpose, 12 years on ......................... they must have had a warehouse full and decided to give us some - we started park and loop 12 weeks before and I think they were intended for that - but why?

Have'nt been told anything else, apart from 'don't need a trolley with 2 in a van being implemented and HCT's will be the only recognised trolleys'. I don't think anything would've been said to us if one of the revised walks was'nt being tested today, the guy who's walk it is uses a trolley and we argued that he should be tested with his trolley not his rest week cover who carrys his bags.
