Most of the time i wake up around 6am then i lie in bed for a hr or 2 more reading. In the summer tho i love waking up early and making the most of the day.
Just say NO ....to the new agreement.

Before this job i used to milk cows so i have got up early all my working life and as much as i look forward to Sundays they are always a disappointment as far as lie ins go.
If i am lucky enough to sleep til late (we have dogs and kids and a sodden cockatiel which i hate with a vengeance as it shrieks its sodden beak off from 6.00 am) then i wake up with a head ache and back ache and a deep deep loathing of cockatiels.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

There you go!!!!! Going from milking to being milked. Body clock dont know when to stop. Up anytime from 4-5.30am!!!!! Not sure which is the lesser of the two evils. Milking or being milkedPOSTMAN wrote:Before this job i used to milk cowsNever thought i would see that statement on this forum.

Unfortunatly, I work Saturday nights, and don't finish till right about NOW, 3:30 sunday morning. Means I've now been awake for very nearly 24 hours. So I will be sleeping until my missus forces me up, somewhere around noon....

Re: What time do you get up on Sunday?
We actually got up at 7am yesterday which is unlike me, I usually refuse to get up that early on the one day off. However, I'd been up at 4:30 for the past 8 working days so I think my body had become slightly adjusted to it.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?
