TBH this park and loop came out of nowhere and was in before you could say Jack Robinson - there was those of us who advised caution but it was full steam ahead and straight on to the rocks.

I am dreading the day it come to our place never did like the sound of it when someone posted it on here last year. Thanks "dvbuk55" for your input and good-luck and all the best in your struggle with the lack of leedership in union representation in your area and above.

this is how RM are interpreting things
the 3.5hrs delivery time was brought in under SDD, under SDD it clearly states that all walks will be planned around a 3.5 hrs deliver span, nowhere in the SDD agreement does it say that 3.5hrs is the maximum!

this is what i have seen as there response and it's from memory, so please don't shoot the messenger!

seem to be playing with the use of words again!

if they put anymore on me then i will be no good for owt!

They are just taking the p--- out of us now. !!! :wave
I'm not taking my Van home, there is nowhere secure to park it and I am NOT taking responsibilty for it in my own time.

Hope its true. :nana
Take my word for it - they ain't pulling the plug on anything - they're ostrich like in dealing with the problems this park and loop or any changes really - pay and modernisation 2008/2009 has turned out to be a blank canvas for Royal Mail to impose any and all changes without murmur - have the Mail Centre ballots gone ahead yet? and what a time to choose, how many posties wants to strike at this time of year, probably the most expensive. :d'oh!
Any industrial action will not be taken I'd have thought until the New Year and beyond. We need the public on board with this and striking at this time of year would piss them off big time.
