I’ve just escaped to after 9 years. Got a settlement agreement though so didn’t have to hand in notice.

Luckily got a new job with Arnold Clark and start in 3 weeks.

Can you use a weeks annual leave as notice?
Say tell em Sat morning before going out on your last shift
If I stay until then, I have 2 weeks off in October, planning to put my notice in during the first week and not go back.

I’m planning on leaving next month , I’ve got a 1in 6 week ( wally week ) on the 16th February and a weeks A/L the week after, I was thinking of handing my notice in towards the end of the 1st week to then have the A/L week as my weeks notice. I’m now thinking though of maybe going sick the w/c 9th Feb self cert & then hand my notice in the week after.
