Just done a Sunday shift, I was looking around the office this morning and there were probably half the amount of people in there as they was 6 months ago. Apparently no recruitment until October. Still got all my parcels done though.
Which got me thinking, Sundays are such a waste of money for the business. Hardly any parcels, get to finish early, fuel usage, OT for cover on our extra day off during the week. Pissing money away really.

The guy got a medal and award from the King, plus a £130,000+ annual salary for that.

Trouble is, every other firm already offers Sunday deliveries and the big senders demand it. It means that if RM doesn't offer Sunday delivery then it'll mean the loss of potentially big contracts.

I guess Sunday deliveries cover a wider geographical area than a regular shared walk.enskied wrote: ↑06 Aug 2025, 22:26100 in over 6hrs , no mail. You are doing something wrong. Maybe you are not. Yeah this exactly, it's not just covering two walks, it's all mixed over the entire walks in the office..
