On my wage slip, it’s only showing backdated pay from week commencing 26-6-23 up until last week. So am I missing April, may and most of June? As I thought tue backdated pay if from April 1st..

Overtime from Saturday not on it.
No surprise there then as I assume the payment run was done at COB on Friday?

So we aren't due any lump sum until 29th September, is that correct? And that will be £1400?

Correct. It’s been well publicised at my unit that the two sums of £900 and £500 are being paid in the same pay date, 29th Septembe, sparking (misplaced?) dismay that the taxman will be more than happy with them not putting the two payments in separate weeks

£500 + at least £900 for full timers, before tax and NI. Part timers will be pro rata ( which is a disgrace).

I believe that the cut off was 1pm on Friday , so no Friday and Saturdays O/T are not there, they will (hopefully) 234 be added to our pay next week!

Surely its makes no difference? the tax rate stays the same.

What happened to me at a previous job was the tax man saw a sudden payment of about 4x my usual wage, panicked and put me in a higher tax bracket (because HMRC assumed that was my new regular wage)... then once the tax year was out I got a rebate for the difference.

That happened to me when I sold my shares too. When they were like £6 or something.
