1 it maybe personal
2 if u do take 1 bag
3 if you dont have to go back to the office to sign off even better as we signed up for job and finish
4 if they start lapsing duties ask for a bike and work to rule no big deal reallly when u ask for the bike
agree 100 percent
must admit number 4 makes takes the smile off there face
Hi Too many postie,s think they are fireproof i,e nothing will happen to me,thats why the job is in a mess you will never stop the dashers, so they use their cars,we do not have enough drop points and have to use our cars for storage i e drop bags.
comments please
God only knows what they have planned for us with all this flexability.

They have to supply you with drop off points for your bags. If i was on a round without bag drops i would return to my office to get my next bag (not feasible for some people who are a distance away from the DO i know). I would then either work to my time or book loads of docket. Either way the DOM would then have to do something about it!!

Was my assertion correct and if so, is this a case of the management turning a blind eye for convenience sake and knowing full well that someone else will carry the can when the s**t hits the fan.
Was having a go at my old lino last year about the insurance and what the guys are allowed to do when it comes to cars, and told him that he was allowing the car users to break the law.
He pointed out that he had no idea what was going on...............................................
..............the conversation was taking place in the yard as many of the muppets were loading their cars up

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
