Was talking to a postie in London the other day, he has a lot of flats on his round, letter boxes on ground floor, you then go up by lift to all the floors with parcels if the lift is working, writing out a 739 if no one is in. But on the ground floor next to the letter boxes, other companies just leave the parcels, big time difference by doing this. But not for much longer everyone in the blocks are going mad has parcels are been stolen.police involved, someone waiting in a car for these parcel companies and following them in and when they go so do the parcels.

Instead of attacking its workforce any half decent management would be exploiting this type of thing to earn more business. Unfortunately we don’t have any decent management so these types of opportunities will go begging.

But who called the strikes during the festive season?

Small business are angry as it was the only way to secure revenue lost during the pandemic. How many staff are going to lose their jobs in these small businesses because of the strikes.

Striking during December was never a good option with public relations, especialy at christmas

How many of these small businesses got pay outs from the government through loss of income during lockdowns. Meanwhile we all had to work for our money as key workers. This is all fine. But now we simply ask for a fair pay rise and for fair terms and conditions, the government and these businesses only think about themselves. We are just being used, we are slaves to them.

Next time there is a pandemic don't call us key workers and expect us to deliver your mail/parcels for you. The government can pay money into our bank accounts instead for loss of income and we'll sit at home drinking coffee and eating biscuits safe from the virus.
