I thought good communication was not lying to your work staff but instead being honest and upfront.
I thought good management was leading by example instead of bullying, and shafting those below you
I thought a good worker was those that give 100% all instead of being a lazy person and above all I thought a Sincere person was those that are humble as the lowest worker instead of a an arrgoance Twat

For in the working lunch interview he said manager's don't have to be nice people and driveing poeple hard is what count's to get the result's (motavation) = (bullying)!. THEIR IS A FINE LINE BETWEEN THE TWO WHICH HAS BECOME MUCH CLOSER SINCE HIS PRESENCE IN THE BOARDROOM AND HAS INCREASED EVER SINCE!. Leighton's hated by the Shop and Distribution unions for being so American in his "ideas " , apparently he nearly got arrested by Walmart's Security over there a few times trying to note and copy everything they were doing .

ASDA became Walmart even before Walmart bought them and of course Uncle Leighton did very well out of it and there was the "financial irregularities " .

What Leighton was hinting at or it's more interesting what he doesn't say than what he says is a big American idea called Asshole Management ( Try google hits ) , the idea is you can't be nice .

Seen all these American style managers in the early 90's in another service when all these Yank ideas were the big thing , some of the hairbrained and downright loopy stuff had to be seen to be believed . They must have been on too many courses and taken all this nonsense to heart .

Lot's of spin and hype and a disturbing appetite for self publicity but little else .
