I do get the impression there's other stuff happening here though. The takeover? Seems Royal Mail have little interest in talking, or even preventing further strikes. The last time we balloted for action (the strike that was eventually quashed by a court) we had videos, pda messages and senior managers coming to our DO pleading with us to vote against strike action. Not even a single video in WTL this time. No manager has once mentioned coming in, even going as far to tell people nor to bother even if they want to. They're even still paying extended in our office.
