There's apparently been a really big managers meeting in London this week. I've heard that our MCM went so I'm guessing that all MCMs went, probably their counterparts in RDCs as well, don't know about deliveries

If RM is now a parcel company why do we need a separate parcel company in Parcel force? Unless they are just left dealing with the parcels far too big for most DO's to store?

I believe that at least one of the LAT hubs in our area won't have the staff to man these so the relevant DOs will probably get them back anyway the next day. The big question is if that happens, will we be told to sort them back to the LAT hubs or to the relevant DOs

All PF's parcels have got time slots and every last one is trackable through its journey. Probably many of the parcels that PF handle will be the same size or smaller than some of the pacels handled by RM

They are going to create new parcel duties so they won't be sending anything back. Think there would be questions asked and heads rolling if one of the parcel hubs failed thousands of tracked everyday

My depot is a LATs depot and so will potentially be a Parcel Depot and we never, intentionally anyway, fail any Tracked items.

Overall it might mean the parcel hubs having to take staff from DOs that aren't parcel hubs. I don't think one of the hubs locally has a hope in hell of being able to cope.
