If Royal Mail Close whole business
problems to happens
1. transport of mail is lost
2. no jobs for junk mail business production
3. no jobs for magazine writers ie Nursing Times
4. no jobs for printers
5. economy take a hit due to 180,000 jobs loss and say 25,000 as well on top.
6. Van manfacturers, Mechanics lose jobs due to lack of demand for vans
7. Mail order/e-commerce shops business like Amazon and co will suffer.
8. 12 millions pounds a week to pay for out of work postman (assuming 60 pounds x 200,000)
9. 540,000,000 pounds to pay for redundancies if everyone get 3,000 pounds each on average.
I can't see the government will allow it to happens.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

don't think so Postman , I've just checked Uniform on Evilbay and it's mostly Fetish / "Special Interests" -For Blokes it's Fireman's Uniforms , Police -For Birds it's all sorts of Uniforms -Air Hostesses , Naughty Nurses , Cheerleaders etc -more like something off a Porn Set .
There is kiddies gear but it's Brownies /School Uniform but there's a lot of school uniform for people who have long left school .
One postie said he could see having to go to Blackpool in a pink cowboy suit to earn a crust and send the missus up *** **** **** in her leather skirt .
MURDERERS. Need to dispose of a body? Simply parcel it up and post it to yourself via DHL. You will never see it again.

To tell the truth postal deliviery offices will never be closed, posties need to deliver the mail not only for RM but also for the competitors, if there were no posties delivering the mail TNT, UK Mail and DHL would have serious problems, the government would never let this happen. The thing is now, will mail centres be merged?Carew wrote:How likely Royal Mail to be closed down / sold off / or lose lot of post delivery person and when it might happens ?

Royal mail is still making over a million pounds a day despite all the cuts they are making so i can,t see them winding the network up,but we have Bill & Ben in chargeCarew wrote:If Royal Mail Close whole business
