I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

My first day ( today ) I worked 9hrs 7am to 4pm

Starting on 20th December permanent role 25 hours Monday to Saturday between 07:00 to 19:00.

Hi. I only started with RM in the middle of October. My contract is only 5hrs a week (Sunday parcels). I only worked the 5 hrs for probably the first 2 weeks (training, driving assessment etc) but since first week in November I've done at least 35 hours a week overtime. Does this mean I won't get any paid holiday (apart from the 2 days in 6 months I'll get from my contracted hours)?

Just been offered a 20Hr a week contract. I'll take it, but have been averaging 42-46hr weeks whilst being a casual for the past few months.

I've been offered a permanent contract 29h17mins a week over any 5 days. I was contacted with the job offer while on the waiting list. The delivery office is 11 miles away from me.
