Also seems like she's saying the pay deal on offer will not be changed what ever you do. Id say rolling strikes by function with one day per person but spread out each episode by weeks without forcing any sense of urgency to reach a deal. Wear her down with time and talk. Make the dispute last one and a half to two years.

I don't trust them at all, full stop!
If they did sway people with this "bribe"/offer then more fool them for taking it. We are still owed our bonus for moving over to the new methods.. keep moving the goalposts and nothing is getting done about it. 3 years now and still waiting. I posted my NO vote over the weekend. I hope others did the same too.

Moya and her lackies/cronies are laughing as they will, no doubt be getting pats on the back for this attempt at paying off the workforce.

18 months will do me. Retirement beckons. No pay/terms and conditions will impact me greatly over that period, but to see how colleagues are treated on a day to day basis, and the impact privatisation will have on the future for them, deserves my total support however long industrial action takes to secure even a modest amount of change by the iron lady.

Dave Ward's official response to the recent Royal Mail propaganda:

Dear Colleague

Royal Mail Propaganda

The latest letter from the Chief Executive of the Royal Mail Group is an act of desperation and discrimination.

The legal and factual position is as follows:

• The company cannot discriminate against any employee for supporting their Union in a legally constituted Ballot for Industrial Action.

• Neither the Royal Mail Group nor CWU can ever reach an agreement that discriminates financially against any individual.

• A final agreement will not be based on the previously rejected pay offer, or the content of the Chief Executive’s divisive letter and beliefs.

• A final agreement will deliver an improved pay and reward package that treats everybody equally – along with further company concessions on all the issues involved in this dispute.

The Chief Executive’s position is not sustainable.

Your collective strength will be the decisive factor - vote yes.

Just heard that the £300 offer/bribe is illegal due to it discriminating against members taking part in a legally organised strike.
Therefore if it goes ahead cwu will go to court.

Is this fact? Or just the word on the street?

I believe that the CWU should now withdraw from the current ballot of members as Moya Greene has now made this ballot a national disgrace and an unfair ball park.
A new ballot whereby every member is now aware of how this company has sunk to the lowest depths of despair should be arranged post haste, and hopefully everybody will bombard David Cameron with a copy of Moya Greenes letter and ask him how his Chief Executive is allowed to manage such a huge Public Business in such an unprofessional manner.
The CWU should also contact every newspaper editor, TV political pundits and news editors to have this national disgrace highlighted in the public eye.

If this is true why don't the union put on the bottom of this letter that they would reimburse any one who went on strike the£300 they could lose if that's the case. Quite simple plain English.

The balls in your court Jesus - tell your Dad not to let anyone through the Pearly Gates who doesn't go on strike - I mean what's £300 compared to eternal life in the house of the lord :angel
