It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I take your word
In the DO I worked in I hope that didn't happen and never heard of posties claiming unfair practice.
I was merely mentioning payroll/HR inability to be devious, as for individual manager's that's a nother matter.
I am not a plant as I left RM over a year ago.
I was a former frontline manager for a while and also worked with all ovther levels of the company, so if I have some perceived bias, well then....
Good luck with it all
It's al gone a bit F0zzie

I've had a letter off the anal wart called doug neal, and mine says the same about losing 5 days in this weeks wages and 1 day in next weeks. I am on rota week this week so I should only be losing 3 days from last week. They are either just being w*****s or just showing their inability to do their job properly-but its probably a lot of both.

AN OPEN LETTER TO DOUGHOLE NEAL.
You have taken 5 days pay out on purpose when it should only be 3, in a childish act of behaviour.
You tell us to think about customers when you dont give a s**t about customers, you did the same thing at christmas after the 2 day strike you refused Burslem overtime on the tuesday, and yet every other DO that was on strike was offered overtime, and then on thursday when you realised that your toss managers were not going to clear it up you asked us if we wanted overtime, did you really expect any other answer than f**k off.
You could have kept Dave Condliffe working while you investigated the accusations by 2 managers, it wasnt as if he was going to bump into them at work considering they came from Birmingham, and then to ask some jumped up manager who works in the same area as the 2 managers, to investigate the incident to be impartial beggers belief, and even though 2 independant witnesses have proved that your managers lied about what happened, you still sacked him. A man who is well liked and respected by staff bosses and customers, and who has given good service to Royal Mail. As an area general manager its about time you took a grip of that useless a t***er Demarco and his obsessive behaviour towards this office, one question, did you have any problem with Burslem before this a**hole came?
THE WHOLE F****ING OFFICE IS ANNOYED ABOUT IT, SORT HIM OUT.

Just curious, any of you guys contacted Big Al over all this,or even Crozier.
I know Fozz says they all don't get read by them, well big Al anyway, but you never know.
If you send them something constructive they'll be aware of it,or if they are already aware, maybe the other side of the story and from the front line as well could help.

let me clarify
Hold on
Any questions that can be answered by someone else are. If you ask a question directly to him, or make a complaint you will have a chance of getting a response.
I also recommend you email Tom Melvin (who will know about this, but enough emails may make him sit up and possibly see things from another angle).
The HR director for the northern region is Anne McCarthy. She is the sister of the RM Group HR Director Tony McCarthy. I would lobby her as well.
Good luck. I suggest you write a letter template. Then get as many people to send this letter as an email to the people you want to.

Fun on the picket line this morning. The lads staged a min version of the cricket world cup, much to the delight of the passing public and to the annoyance of the non-volunteer visiting managers. They also played footie, hopscotch and did a very impressive conga.
LETS ALL DO THE CONGA, LETS ALL DO THE CONGA NA NA NA NA NA NA

the Zebra Crossing we did across the road worked, every time we crossed unlucky for the Visiting managers they had to stop and wait until all of us got over the road safe, because the naughty managers have been racing in and out for the last 5 days, but today on the 6th day of action the F*****S had to stop, Amazing what a lot of chalk can do.
We will get Pictures, because Royal Mail have taken down all our pictures, Flags, notice boards and the CWU notices board paperwork down ( NAUGHTY NAUGHTY DIRTY TRICKS, SPIT THE DUMMY'S OUT BUNCH OF TOSSER'S MANAGERS from outside the STOKE ON TRENT AREA C***S ).
So we will get some on here when we recover the office,Which will not be long my OMEGO'S.
P.S and the picket line today was MAGNIFICO, LAUGH, BANTER and COMRADE SHIP.

Ive typed an open letter today regarding the bullying and intimidation we put up with and also about Big Daves case, i will be showing it to the reps first, and then sending it to everybody in RM hierarchy and local MPs.
So if anybody knows any names and addresses who they think this letter should go to, let me know.
P S The people on the picket line are a credit to us, great spirit, great comradship, great laughter. something RM management know nothing about.

The Communication Workers Union (CWU) is now to ballot postal workers throughout north and mid-Staffordshire for further strike action. A widespread and energetic campaign for a ‘yes’ vote would win the support of the vast majority of postal workers in the area
Do you guys know about this?
