Indeed, I think the answer is becoming all too apparent with each passing day, and each desperate statement made by certain union officials on here.
It stinks of corruption, and is something that I, in all conscience, cannot be part of for very much longer.

Oh, come on, don't leave us all hanging in mid-air in suspense, how exactly does this agreement protect jobs?
More to the point, exactly whose jobs does it protect?

We all know the answer to that....but, one ( rhetorical ) question I'd love to be answered is just how secure are their jobs since this agreement was published?

Makes a nonsense out of the 'we don't care about pay 'brigade ,don't it. Rm would cheerfully guarantee 100% FT employment if you all agreed to work for f**k all

surely when sequencing machines come in D2D prep will be the substitute work for IPS & SPS hence protecting indoor work and FT jobs?....

ps i agree that only those that deliver D2D should get the payment.... and cover jobs should take 1/6 of D2D each day....

If Royal can manage to earn an average of £30 per person on door to door then £30-£12.40(what we get paid) = £17.60 in rm pocket * 87800 full time = £1,545,280 per week * 52 weeks = £80,354,560 profit on our backs :shhhhh

[quote="tpost"]Average D2D payments £12.39, call rates 85% you know what they say "there are lies, damned lies and statistics" I am losing money plain and simple[/quote

a postie in our office worked his average of d2d to be £14 a week last year and with the loss of early pay a total of £26.
with the £20.60 suplement and the first two wage increases stands to gain £6 a week.
not saying yes or no but just letting you know we were young with figures.obviously alot more to think about

I cannot find in the agreement a timescale for switching to the £20.60 supplement....

Is it?

April in line with the pay deal (when removal of cap would make them impossible to complete)

or

when we switch to automation when we possibly have more time to do the d2d's in?

"To coincide with the introduction of the national agreement unit payments will cease and the 3 items per week cap will be removed. D2D Monies will be turned into a delivery supplement paid 52 weeks a year for all delivery employees (OPG and ORR) pro rata for part time employees."

Well i would imagine that "coincide with the introduction of the national agreement" means immediately. :hmmmm
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

so as soon as its ratified or April 2010 whichever is the latest I hope otherwise we will all be paying back ESA and D2D payments for a while.

Hmmmm so the d2d cap removal is meant to fill the extra time brought about by introduction of automation!!!!!!!!

yet no sign of automation!!!!

I struggle to get my duty done now so i see many cuttoffs ahead
