i do go in early and mainly this was down to me doing a town business round (the main shopping street)and i have on many occassions bought the fact that the later i get out the long it take's me due to the shops being open and i then have to go into each and every shop, and also the amount of holiday makers that are about the security of the mail, with me being out later menas more people about, but that is the only reason.

and before anyone starts having ago, i have informed my dum that i will no longer be doing this and i have made him put all my concerns down in writing and myself, the dum and the cwu rep have signed it, so should any complaints come in from the shops/business's about the late mail or any thefts then at least its down in writing that i aired my concerns, from now on it's JOB DONE PROPERLY

:d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh!

(1) Your not forced to do it!!!
YOUR NOW BEING FORCED TO START LATER!!
HOW ABOUT ANOTHER 20MINS W/S
TAKEN OUT OF YOUR PREP TIME AS YOU SEEM TO LIKE IT SO MUCH!!!

(2) Your driver gets pushy!!!
TELL HIM TO WAKE THE F*CK UP AND START DOING HIS JOB PROPERLY
THEN WE WOULD'NT BE IN THE SH*T WE ARE IN!!!

For Gods sake you get paid for 8 hours and you work for 8 hours,
thats 1 of the reasons we are fighting to keep them all on the same day

HELLO FLEXABLE HOURS IS IT SINKING IN YET!!! :d'oh! :d'oh! :d'oh!

I get to work early.

I cannot remember where it was but when I started at Plymouth MDEC there was something about being in the building 15 minutes before Shift Start.

*Shrugs*

All I know is it is a good opportunity to get much needed coffee and have a chat with friends on other teams.

GET PAID FROM THE TIME YOU START & START FROM THE TIME YOU GET PAID
Simple isn't it ? You'd think so. but not to some.
Early start---not a chance---I cant understand why anyone would do this!!!!
Not long ago trying to convince a colleague that he should not come in half an hour early and work unpaid and not run round his walk.
He said to me "Ah yes, but i'm at home with my feet up while you are still out on your walk".

Sometimes I despair.
