It doesn't surprise me that Government and Big Business is so corrupt, but I would have thought others at the Top would have stopped it. To simply say, "Royal Mail Shares were drastically undervalued ... We didn't realise they'd be so oversubscribed" is not good enough!

People should have been held responsible, and punished. But we know that never happens. Politicians, and CEOs, are just let off with a slapped wrist and told, "Don't do it again".

I have been posting on message boards for a number of years on a variation of subjects,trolls are everywhere,every single forum has a couple. Invariably- what I have found is that they always turn out to be angry,unhappy blokes that seem to have something (or someone) missing in their lives. redlen could be the exception to the rule of course

Yet again calling the CEO of the company you work for and Boss "Slyman" shows the contempt its unionised workers have for their employer. This juvenile rhetoric is what has got us into this position.
That includes the CWU director of communications Chriss Webb after his stunt in Parliament.

Come on - you don't believe that. Offering and imposing a 2% pay rise is what got us here. If they had offered 5/6% last summer with a few minor strings attached we'd all have been in a better place.

Definitely agree with you on that! All This could have been completely avoided if a forced 2% didn’t happen an offer of like you say with the usual strings but also if a certain managers union had stuck by its fellow TUC member instead of ITS members accepting a few lunching vouchers a pitiful money bribe and the odd day off this position we are all in now could have been a lot different and probably for the better? So those managers who have been behind this current CEO and his narcissistic cronies have to look long and hard at themselves IF and when their P45’s appear (they won’t land on their doormat because they’re won’t be a British postal service to put it through their letterbox)

I'm guessing that if you go around all the couriers the going rate for a letter sized item is probably around £5. just imagine all the MPs getting a right earful when their constituents find themselves having to pay £5 each time they want to send a single letter
