I start early beacuse my van usually arrives at ten to four, I don't see the harm in throwing in some mail before I start on the IPS at ten past four.

Its not as if I'm forced to do it, I just like to be up on top of things, my driver that takes me out can be quite pushy if you're not ready when he is. It's less hassle for me.

WELL PUT THE HASSLE BACK ON R,M. Not you!!!!! So if your driver has to wait 15mins then so be it.. They aint god... There job is to drop you off... If you will be any more than 15min then tell your Lineo and he/she can sort out your drop off and bags... You say your not FORCED to come in early... Well in the future you and everybody WILL BE FORCED to come in early just to finish before your time so you dont go over,,, Then even if you did you WONT GET PAID FOR IT!!!! So DONT GIVE RM ANYTIME THEY AINT PAYING FOR... It all starts with..." im only doing this." then it carrys on,, More n more n more until Your get everybody working for nothing.... JOB DONE FOR RM .... THEY WILL THANK YOU!!!! WE WILL CURSE YOU AND YOU WILL CURSE YOURSELF JUST FOR 10 15 MINS A DAY..... Its as plain as the nose on your face..... It all starts with a few minutes and an excuse!!!! Its the long term we all need to think long n hard about!!!!!!

The majority of the 30hr people come in up to an hour early at our office, only me + 1 other don't! It's purely cos they're worried about being b*llocked if they book docket + don't get contracts renewed.
This is WRONG!!

I arrive at work 04.45 (05.00 start) firstly to get a decent parking place, because unlike some offices the lads and ladies don,t use thier cars on delivery :Applause ,and secondly i have a drink of coffee , if the damn machine is working. Then i start my official time 05.00 ,but there,s still a few on their fittings throwling in early .Have they forgot walk revisions :d'oh!

Since I moved, my nightbus situation means I'm usually no more than 10mins early and once my landlord sorts out bike storage I will be cycling anyway!

Only about 5 come in on the sly about 15 mins before 6am to throw there walk up + when we had 130 hrs re-invested into our office, we left there rounds as they are + took 15-30 mins off all the other heavy rurals cos they finished on time + worked through there meal breaks...SILLY FOOLS.
When RM come looking for a saving for :lfo + :cfo bonuses they will put more work onto the runners rounds cos they never claim O/T...... :Applause

I voted no simply because there IS NO POINT in me coming in early because I will not be able to get a van because they will all be getting used by other drivers at the time I start. This has been going on ever since the new TRAKA system came in. Still if I could, I would not start early. Why do it when yo do not get paid?

Up until the IA started I sometimes came in early if it was of benefit to me.
I could throw my mail in and get that little bit early out and back as quick as I could
and then away to do whatever I needed to get away for. Since the IA, no chance.
These proposals are pathetic and doing the job properly is now "The way forward" :Very Happy
