Pilon payment

Am currently looking at being Ill health retired and have been told that the lump sum 34x week is at normal full pay rate (currently on half pay)
Is the pilon also paid at full rate and does it include any supplements or just basic pay , and with holiday owing is that calculated till the end of the pilon period or day I leave business thanks

Pilon is full basic pay, and holiday is calculated to day you leave the business.

As far as I'm aware the 34 weeks ihr sum is tax free as well (the holiday pay isn't, don't know about the pilon) so it's actually around a years take home pay.

Thanks just been reading up and pilon is what you would normally earn if you worked according to legal sites , which surely means delivery supplement as well .
Just trying to work out what it should be as going in to work in next day or so to be given figures and like to know that it is correct .
Holiday owed will be interesting as haven’t taken any and owed some last year as been of sick

The 34 weeks is untaxed and the Pilon is taxed. For a full timer it works out at £21.5k. Holiday pay will also be taxed.
