How far in advance annual leave odd days

Post by mjd24 »

Just spent half an hour or so trying to pick my final 2 weeks of leave up to end of March 2024 . . . 85 weeks in advance, utter madness!

Anyway, my apps telling me i have a certain amount of hours left until the end of this financial year so im picking some odd days too.

Also wondering- how far in advance can we pick odd days? Can i pick odd days for say September 2023 now? Or do i have to wait until we’re in that financial year (from April 2024) ?

Don't use the app to book single days. Just go to your booking officer and book via them. Managers seem to automatically refuse them even if they're available.

Sorry if i was unclear- im not planning to use the app to apply for leave days, just to look and see what days i might want. We have been told we cant use the app to pick adhoc leave days- despite the big announcement by Zareena!

This company is a f***** joke.

We haven't even finished booking this year's leave yet in my office let alone the year after. Our useless DOM got a big redundancy pay off earlier in the year for not doing his job properly. I expect nothing less from this company anymore though.
