They're sabotaging the company to reduce mail delivery days

I've seen a few recent revisions, I've mulled it over during the last year. I've compared it to revisions I've been through in the past.

At first I thought it was incompetence and greed, the taking of walks out of an office, and making all the other walks bigger by adding the loops form the aforementioned walks. But there's no way, the attitude of the planners I've come across has been off, something unusual I wish I could elaborate more on..the genuine stress it has put people under, those whose walks are just absolutely unachievable even on the quietest of days - even with 3 people on 2 walks/16 loops... The dismissiveness of them to address problems that 95% of the office is having , the total refusal to use PDA data to aid in the planning, or re-adjust the messed up walks... all of it stinks.

This is failure by design, and I'm sure of it. They want to go to regulators and say they're failing everywhere and aim to reduce mail delivery days.
Sickens me delivering appointment letters for a children's cancer hospital a month late, fines that have escalated, birthday cards. It's shameful to work for this disgusting shower of greedy lying parasitic sociopaths.

I'm all over the place writing this, I'm dejected, I'm tired, I'm depressed working in this toxic environment. Everyone is at each others throats, turning on eachother because of the pressure, fist fights in the DO ffs?? you try to stay out of it but you end up on a walk that you can't get done because you have to concentrate on your tracked, because fk doing overtime for this company... next day you've got someone dumpling down your throat because you only got 3 loops done.

Next day you wake up and the anxiety starts eating you again because you know you've got another day in hell.
I'm applying for other work but getting out of here can't come soon enough. Hope you're al doing better than me/us.

Sadly you feel like 99% of us . No one should feel like we do going to work for this company. If you can get out go .no job or employer is worth ruining your health for . Just to say I am going at the end of the month .taking early retirement as I cant take anymore after 22 years .

Judging by the size of the guy who did ours, i very much doubt he’s ever done a delivery or would be able to.

Doesn’t make sense.

The Regulator would simply ask if they have too much work.

It’s their way of getting every contracted working second out of its workforce.
2% pay rise is an absolute insult,We worked through the Pandemic and this is how they treat us.
They have failed it’s workforce and are failing the UK residents who only want their mail delivered on time.
It’s so obvious they are committing sabotage and ruining Royal Mails reputation.

Keep piling more onto the walks then act surprised when it gets busy and the failures come thick and fast.

It took 6 months to clear up the mess from the revision in our office. The sequencing on the new frames was farcical and the best part was they threw away the old stickers so we couldn't easily roll back. Utterly idiotic and in any other industry heads would roll for such incompetence. Also had already long walks virtually doubling in size that have since been adjusted when they realised it was completely unachievable. Someone's getting paid a lot of money to be utterly s**t at their job

I can believe it,when we had our revision balls up we had stuff piling up for over a month,it was gob smackingly stupid

I believe it, one of our smaller local depot's only cleared Octobers mail in January at the expense of our one (10 staff and 2 managers spent 2 weeks there helping plough through it all)

Couldn't agree more I've worked for RM 26 years, no more overtime , I'm seriously considering just working my hours at Xmas. The company really couldn't give a toss about it's workforce.
