Is every office run as badly as ours?

- We no longer have an “in house” manager, we are now managed remotely by another office down the road. We get a visit from them once a month.

- Overtime not being paid correctly. Some staff having to wait until the following week to get what they’re owed meaning they can’t pay their bills.

- Staff leaving in droves and not being replaced. No sign of any vacancies being advertised.

- Consequently duties are failing every day. We have 6/18 duties failing tomorrow. Even Tracked parcels are failing.

- Overtime booked or mail brought back on most duties almost every day due to them being unachievable. Since the revision and the introduction of photographing tracked items, it’s impossible to complete the duties in the time. This has been going on for months with no resolve.

- Morale is the lowest I’ve ever seen with the vast majority of staff looking for another job.

Maybe we are a trial office on how things will run if we’re on strike?

There is apparently a pressure overtime ban.
That doesn't stop our COM from putting it through as absence overtime for his favourites.

That doesn't stop our COM from putting it through as absence overtime for his favourites.

Overtime ban? There's absolutely tons of it at ours! They can't get enough people to do it so walks are failing. Loads of us working our day off.

Got told today they are trying to lapse another 12 deliveries in the office. That would be a total of 25 lapsed duties. Most have just given up now and will just cut off.

Oh most definitely. The one COM was quite high up in the company at one point so is probably out of impress. Our manager isn’t happy about it but he’s still having people come back early and expecting to go home.
