What's the crack with Lieu days?
If you give the dom two weeks notice do they have to give you your lieu day on the day you want?

oh, I thought there might have been some agreement in place where they have to give you it if you gave them enough notice.

They can be impossible to take. Some people in our office have had them in the 'bank' for years! When ever I work my day off or my day off falls on a bank holiday I tell my manager I want paying for it or another day off that week. I do not want a lieu day!

Yeah I usually ask for the money instead of the day. But this time I want the day.
