Blue shirts

Post by matthew68 »

Have we stopped supplying the blue shirts as I cannot find any on uniform ordering page? These are 100 percent cotton and you can wear them
Loose which is what you are supposed to do in the summer, they only have polo shirts which I find totally uncomfortable in the summer as it’s a mixture of fabrics Which makes me uncomfortable wearing them. The new ones don’t appear much better despite what they say. Has the new uniform been delayed because I thought we should have had it by now. What am I supposed to wear as only polo shirts are available!

loved the cotton shirts as the polo shirts are tight and too hot
What was wrong with the blue shirts as they were loose fitting and cooler in the summer

Isn't there a red shirt in the new uniform?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Yeah it's called the performance shirt or some bollox, it's more like a normal shirt than the thicker polo shirts, if you get one it counts as two ordinary shirts from your allowance though.

I’ve still got a few blue shirts thankfully. They don’t have in the new range. The new range polo tops are better in size and more comfortable than the old range ones I’m finding.

I prefer the blue shirts. I ordered some of the old style red shirts. They were too fitted, sleeves too tight and because they are polyester they made me stink!! I went back to my old, rather shabby blue shirts. The new style red t shirts look nice but I bet they’re not made of breathable material.

The new polo shirts are to warm in this weather and the new red shirt although it looks nice is terrible reminds me of the nylon sheets my mother used to use in the 70s

I stopped wearing the blue shirts when they made them unisex and they looked like maternity blouses 🙄, don’t get me started on the good old Ben Sherman shirts and how I miss them

Or the thermal jackets with detachable sleeves , they were the dogs bollocks :thumbup
could be worn in our "normal summers " without the sleeves ,a brilliant jacket , now all
posties go about looking like meter readers RM must be saving millions on uniforms
what price is a Hi - Viz against an appropriate jacket for the job.
