Hi
I want to take a career break and have asked my manager for info and the relevant forms etc but I'm getting " I'll have a look for you, oh sorry I haven't had time see me tomorrow", I've had this for over a month.
Can anybody definitively tell me where to start, can I apply online or where I can get the relevant forms please?
It's frustrating and ridiculous. I shouldn't have to beg for information that should be available without having to jump through hoops.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Gap Year
This is what I did……..
Put it all in writing in a sealed envelope and give it to manager.
Take a photo of it first though on your phone.
Then they came back to me with the official forms to fill in and a 4 page leaflet of the career break rules.
However. This was in March and I still haven’t had any confirmation that I’m getting the 6 months off. Next May to November. But if I don’t get it I’ll probably leave anyway. Good luck.
