Got some holiday pay in there for a week I had off in April, happy days! This can go towards the strike fund

Im still confused by this- is it that you get paid your average amount of overtime when you are on leave? If so, surely this isnt going to add up to much? Yet ive overheard guys in work talking of hundreds of pounds 🫤

That's right, you get the average weekly hours of your last 6 months (I think) when you're on leave.
It depends on the contract really, if they're on a 25 or 30 HR contract then they probably have a lot of overtime in there so it could amount to say an extra 20hrs a week, multiply that by 4 weeks and it could easily be hundreds.

They have just changed this system this weekend though so you get paid you're average hours on the week that you are on holiday, subject to earning at least 8hrs o/t per period.

I've just read this back and not sure it makes any sense. Maybe someone else could explain it better!

My hours are 14.48 and payment us about 99.75 quid...is that right??

Yes it is HP.

The number of hours will be the number of hours leave you have taken since 1 Apr - so only you will know if that is correct.

That's what I thought when I saw your payment, but looking at when you joined this chat site have you been in RM long?
If not you were probably on a lower pay rate for first six months and perhaps they're paying you at that rate for
OT worked in your first six months but even so still seems a bit low. Another factor might be the contract you're on.
Without knowing your exact contractual circumstances it's a bit difficult for any of us to say.

Further edit: I thought I'd check my payslip out and I don't quite know what's going off. I've got both NPen OT and SSPR OT arrears
for the number of hours that almost match my contract apart from 2 minutes (weird) but if you work those hours against the
money paid it's virtually a pound an hour so I've no clue what's going off - furthermore I wasn't even expecting any average holiday OT pay.

I believe the number of hours is just how many have been assessed (i.e. how much holiday you have taken since April 1st). Nothing to do with how many hours of pay you are receiving.

Thanks for the help! You are right not been with the company long joined early December 21, have a 35 hour contract permenant plus 2 hours temporary ontop since I signed for a duty. (37 hour full time duty but was told that due to reduction in working week a 35 hour contact would be eventualy needed.

Is that a bit fishy or standard these days?

Will have a read on the app and see if I can get my head around it..

RM made new "full time" contracts 35 hours a few years ago. The extra 2 hours you get should be paid at SA or SSPR/SA meaning it is paid even when you are on leave, which in turn means it doesn't count towards holiday pay.

Seems a bit low if you're consistently working 22 - 23 hours O/T per week, but from the pic can't see the six full (roughly monthly)
periods OT totals that you've got minimum qualifying 8 hrs OT for (the screen shot I see only shows Feb and Mar) so it's a bit difficult to say.

If the RM computer has worked out 1hr 5m for your first week that the second week should be the same (if it's consecutive weeks
as the calculation will be based on pretty much the same data going back) - but as I said IMHO I don't think that's correct

If it's SA OT then it doesn't qualify for OT Holiday Pay IIRC but then that begs the question
why is it highlighted as being a qualifying 'Pass'. A bit confusing - but RM don't make anything easy.

Additionally it's a bit confusing why they put all the F/T / P/T stuff at the top of the screen when you're one or
the other, but you can see that the system says you've taken 38.34 hours leave. Mine is just as confusing.
