Leave Sheet 2023/2024

Hi all

Was just handed the leave sheet for 2023/2024 by my line manager today and told to book my first allocation of 2 weeks and return to him tomorrow morning, how can plan and book next years 2 week slot annual leave within less than 24 hours (was working until 5pm), find it all a bit strange considering I still have to take my first annual leave of 22 yet!
Are all offices the same or is my line manager being unreasonable?

Wow that is crazy.. our Annual Leave plans normally start in February, few weeks before the annual leave year. Scrap that!

We normally start in September for the following years A/L, you are given a sheet, 2 weeks to fill it in.

The minority aren’t taking the piss ,.they’ve just got no other way of attending weddings, christenings etc because of the inept inflexible leave system that is in place.

What do COM and DCOM stand for?

My previous leave sheet to 31/03/2023 Remaining balance 53.07.
This leave sheet from 01/04/2023 balance carried forward 52.17.

In any other world the carried forward would be the same as ending balance on the previous sheet, I guess the world of RM is different.

Things like this do make you wonder how often mistakes are made (perhaps deliberately) and people dont notice.
