It is horrendous round my way, and no doubt round your way as well, they are building like it's going out of fashion.

They have actually built on a mound of grass where I had my first kiss!

Where they're near the border of the areas covered by different walks it must be pot luck as to which walk they get added to

There are tower blocks going up all over our area, we've been told "don't worry about them- they can be added as absorption."
A particularly large block of 220 flats, built on a site that previously had 2 firms drops; "everyone near it will just take one floor on top of their absorption."

More work, but no plans to change routes or- God forbid- hire more staff to cover it.

Feels a bit like 2013, when it was revealed many companies were raking money in by telling staff "we can't hire more people or give you a raise due to the '08 crash." Stagnating wages and deteriorating conditions for those who do the work, so the company can give more to the shareholders and be proud of their position on the FTSE

130+ house estate about a quarter ready going up on the edge of town. Every house has a long driveway. The postie was struggling to complete before construction started and has now asked for help. He's been told that the whole estate will be on his delivery when it's complete and that he'll just have to rotate which parts of the round he leaves in every day if he's not prepared to work over. What a great company we work for.

The delivery is right on the edge of town with the new estate being built into the countryside. The only adjacent delivery is a rural that's having it's own issues with multiple small developments. Even if they split the estate up between other van shares, the walks in my office are generally too big anyway,......especially with all the absorption we have to prioritise before starting our own rounds. We are chronically understaffed anyway, and have multiple full/part delivery failures every day. Our managers are constantly requesting reinforcements, but are being denied by the powers that be above them. As I said, what a great company we work for.
