Royal Mail, the Royal Mail cruciform, Parcelforce Worldwide and the Parcelforce Worldwide logo are registered trademarks of Royal Mail Group Limited or its related companies in the United Kingdom and other countries.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Don't even think we've got/need Royal approval anymore do we? It's just a 'reserved' word that can't be used by
new companies without Govt. approval: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... l--royalty but companies that have had the prefix
previously are allowed to still use it I suppose - Royal Dutch Shell (but I think that was that the Dutch Royals) or Royal Doulton (but
I think they've got a Royal Warrant as Her Maj likes their stuff I suppose).

To be fair they aren't the only fools to misbrand something and hastily reverse it. Captain Birdseye's Cod Pieces? Nike's 'Zyklon' trainers?
