When the queen dies

Post by Rage24 »

How long will we get off? If it happens while we are at work and we hear about it, can we go home?

Apparently the code words are "London Bridge is down".
Cue sombre music on the radio etc..

Nicolas Witchell will be all over the TV and millions of people who didn't know her will be beside themselves with faux grief.

Her mother lived to 101 and they have the best doctors other people's money can buy so you may still have a long wait.

But no I can't just down tools and go home, she's not my gran.

It will probably be a normal working day for us just like Saturday, because Si & Co don't regard such events as special/exceptional and those at the top almost certainly don't do weekends anyway.

Charles third surely?
The first two King Charles were hardly a roaring success.
It is within his purveiw to take on any name.
His grandfather George was actually Albert.
I think Richard IV would be more apt.
King Dick has a certain ring to it.
Or James after his great friend who handed out badges to kids.

She’ll still be queen when she’s over 100 years old
I’ve always had a feeling she’ll out live Charlie
He’s trained to be king all his life and probably never will bef :Boo hoo!

I think Cherlie boy is going to take George as his name when the time comes.

I moment the Queen dies I expect RM to surcharge ever item using a stamp with the her head on it as it will be out of date. That seems to be the mentality of those running the company.
