Also it states that the union has already agreed to Sunday working

They don't want to have to deliver letters Monday to Saturday and only do it because of the USO. There is no way letters will be getting done on a Sunday unless it's a Sunday guaranteed special which they will probably bring in and will cost about £15!
Commercial managers seldom do but that's because they are "ideas" people and don't have to plan, implement and execute these ideas.
It's not as if their ideas are groundbreaking or original, it's just that when people who know the job have these ideas they tend to chuckle, shake their heads and move on.
There is zero chance we will ever be delivering normal letters on a Sunday. Most likely won’t be delivering letters on Saturdays once Royal Mail get their way.

Based on what? My tea leaves say letters will be non-existent and anything we want won't have to
be delivered because we'll all have 3d printers at home that can print anything including food and so
we'll all be out of a job........eventually.
Why create more rumours and unfounded theories just to get people even more wound up and willing to accept any
crap deal that RM and CWU push out because 'It's the best we could get'?

No, it means that some consumers have indicated they would accept 2nd class mail will only be delivered three days a week
Not that all mail will be 2nd class and only go out three days a week

No, it doesn't say that, it says that's what the 'customer workshops' said they would be 'interested in' after being
asked no doubt loaded questions biased towards the answers that RM wants. Doesn't say anything about
what 'will' happen.
